Postman Collection
Import the OpenAPI document and Postman builds the collection itself: every endpoint, with parameters, descriptions and auth. Re-import to refresh it.
Import the spec
Open Postman and click Import, top-left.
Choose Link and paste the OpenAPI URL:
https://api.gunspec.io/openapi.jsonPostman generates a collection with every operation, grouped by tag, with each parameter and its description already filled in.
Add your key
The spec declares how the API is authenticated, so Postman sets the scheme up for you. You only supply the value.
Open the generated collection, go to Authorization, and pick the API key scheme the import created.
Paste your key as the value. Every request in the collection inherits it.
It cannot go stale
The spec is generated from the API itself, so an endpoint added or changed appears the next time you import. A collection kept by hand cannot promise that: the one this page used to offer covered a fraction of the API and named a manufacturer slug that had been renamed.
Tip: Postman can re-import over an existing collection, keeping your saved examples and environments.
