Overview

The Savage Axis II Precision is a bolt-action precision rifle that pairs Savage's budget-oriented Axis II barreled action with an adjustable MDT aluminum chassis. Introduced in 2019, it brings entry-level long-range capability with a free-floating threaded heavy barrel, user-adjustable AccuTrigger, 20 MOA optics rail, and AICS-pattern detachable magazine. It is chambered primarily in .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor and is aimed at shooters entering precision and long-range disciplines on a limited budget.
