Also known as: Sako 85 Bear Series Kodiak

Overview

The Sako 85 Kodiak is a Finnish bolt-action dangerous-game rifle built on Sako's 85 action with a controlled-round-feed extractor. Chambered for heavy magnum cartridges such as the .375 H&H Magnum, it pairs a stainless steel receiver, bolt, barrel and detachable magazine with a grey laminated hardwood stock reinforced by two cross-bolts. The short, free-floating, cold-hammer-forged barrel carries adjustable open sights and a band-type front swivel, making it a weatherproof rifle purpose-built for hunting large bears and other dangerous game.
