Also known as: Stribog SP9A3S

Overview

The Grand Power Stribog SP9 A3S is a folding-stock variant of the Slovak SP9 A3 9mm pistol-caliber carbine. It retains the semi-locked bolt with roller-delayed blowback action that tames felt recoil compared to direct blowback designs, but adds an integrated side-folding stock (or PDW-style brace on US-market versions) that reduces the folded length to around 316 mm for compact carry. The non-reciprocating charging handle stays forward during firing, and the aluminium receiver carries Picatinny rails at 12 and 6 o'clock with M-LOK slots at 3 and 9 o'clock.

Background

Named after Stribog, the Slavic god of wind, the Stribog family became Grand Power's most internationally successful product. The folding-stock A3S widened the line's appeal in the US pistol-caliber-carbine market, where its roller-delayed action offers noticeably softer recoil than competing blowback carbines.
